For the Rainbow Fish – Step It Up we learnt about stained glass windows. I got creative with this activity and made my own stained glass rainbow fish window.
I did this by drawing a rainbow fish on a sandwich bag and then painting it I then stuck it on the window. My little brother really liked it so I made him one too.
I took a picture of both of them from the inside of my house and then close the curtain and took a picture from outside.

I decided to do my rainbow fish as a mosaic because I really love doing these.
My rainbow fish is from the start of the story where he’s swimming around before he meets the other rainbow fish that don’t have shiny scales like him.
I added a rainbow turtle in too.
For today’s Step it up I was to create an animation of a Manu. I decided to use pictures of me doing each step to create the animation. I hope you like what I have made.
For Soda Chef – Step it up activity we were to make a video with directions on how to make our very own Sea Soda Float. I was not able to make a movie of me making my drink so I have made you a step to step instruction slide show with pictures to tell you how to create Alex’s Sea Soda Float.
I thought I was not going to like my drink but it turns out I do like blue power aid.
Here is me making a big splash in our pool for the The Manu Splash – Kick Start. I have also put a picture of the splash I made.
For the Seaside Maths Quest – Step it up I learnt more about shapes and maths then completed a Google slide of questions with pictures of what I found on the beach to answer the questions. ( I ever found a turtle but I know one was out there somewhere). I have not learnt a lot of this maths but I gave it a try.
For today’s Shapes and Patterns Quest – Kick Start I was to go on a hunt for items found at the beach or in the ocean to complete the shapes and pattern scavenger hunt. Here is the list of items I was to find and all the pictures I found.
For the Step It Up activity I had to use my pirate mat and make it look old.
Today I tried the ocean signs kick start activity. It was about why the ocean is blue. I learned the ocean is blue because of the way the light hits it and breaks down the colors blue is the last color to be broken down. You can learn more about this in my step it up ocean science activity.
I had lots of fun doing this experiment with water and a few drops of milk and a torch. I really love science and doing experiments.
For this task I watched some videos on how to create a pirate treasure map and then drew my own.
