For the Rainbow Fish – Step It Up we learnt about stained glass windows. I got creative with this activity and made my own stained glass rainbow fish window.
I did this by drawing a rainbow fish on a sandwich bag and then painting it I then stuck it on the window. My little brother really liked it so I made him one too.
I took a picture of both of them from the inside of my house and then close the curtain and took a picture from outside.
Hey Alex!🍄
How are you doing today?
I have read your post and it sounds awesome.
Thanks for telling us how you did it is really useful,
especially for the other viewers who would want to do this activity.
It is really thoughtful for you to make your little brother one.
Did you find this activity easy or hard?
maybe you could include that in your work next time.
But it’s ok everyone makes mistakes
but either than that you did a really good job for this post great job!
Byee!🙃
Kia ora Alex,
It’s Charlotte again, a blog commenter for the Summer Learning Journey. Well done on this post! I have enjoyed checking out all your amazing mahi over the past few weeks!
I think you have taken a very creative approach to this challenge and have made it your own! The work you have produced looks amazing, I bet it looks really cool when the sun is streaming through the window! Have you ever made something like this before?
I know you have been challenged to include sea turtles in all your SLJ posts, I noticed the one in the corner of this post – well done on sneaking it in!

Summer Learning Journey
Hi Alex, it’s Jude here who did this activity for the SLJ. It’s great that you have been so involved in this mahi and I’m sure you have learnt heaps about all sorts of things relating to the moana. I love that you took the Step it Up challenge and made it your own. You’ve done a fantastic job of making a stained glass image and it didn’t require you using an oven. Good thinking! I too love that you made one for your brother, that was really kind.
