Northern Lights

Today we learnt about the Seven Wonders of the Natural World. We then chose one to research and created a fact sheet about it. I chose the Northern Lights, it was cool. I would like to visit it one day.

Alex Anzac

Last week, we wrote a haiku about ANZAC. It was really interesting learning about ANZAC. Once I learnt how to write a haiku poem it was fun.

Triathlon

This week we had our school triathlon. A triathlon is three sports activities we had to do. The first thing we did was swim. We swam four lengths of the whole pool. The second thing we did was bike riding. We rode two laps around the school. We also ran three laps around the field. The next day it was Friday so we did play, make, create and we had to make a creation from the triathlon. Like a pool, bike and the field. Me and Colton made a pool.

SLJ Legs Legs Legs? – Kick Start

Today I did Legs legs legs? kick start activity.  I learnt about an elephant who only has 3 legs called Mosha and She has a prosthetic leg so she can walk around like a normal elephant.

The task was to design her a new leg.   I decided to make it different colours with black back ground and put simple shapes on it.  Here is my Prosthetic leg for Mosha.
