I have not been able to create my own Sea Soda Float but I did get my favorite one yesterday at McDonalds. Once mum has done the shopping I will make my own and film it for the step it up activity.
I had fun learning about NZ shells. I never knew there was so many.
Today’s activity was to create a message in a bottle a long with a picture of where your bottle would be. I decided to have a Dolphin carrying my bottle through the ocean. Here is my picture and my message from my bottle.
Here is my Palolo – Sea Worms Kick Start activity. I started by creating a Google draw of where Palolo like on the corral reef and then made some Palolo to go on the corral. I then drew a Palolo life cycle on paper and took a picture to upload onto a new Google draw so I could type the stages of a Palolo life.

Today I made a Make believe postcard to my Granny and Grandpa in Scotland about being under the sea and what I saw. Make sure you click on my picture to see what I wrote on the postcard.
Today I was to choose an Aquatic Animal to draw. I chose one of my favorite Aquatic animals a sea turtle. They are one of my favourite because there is so many cool facts about them, unfortunately even though they have been around since dinosaurs they are becoming extinct due to water pollution – like plastic, being caught in fishing nets and predictors. Humans need to make changes fast to save turtles from extinction. NZ has 5 of the 7 species of turtles in our water.
I gave the step it up Mosaic Art a try. It was my first time using Canva so my big brother helped me to get started. Here is what I made to show the African Big 5 Marine Life.
If I could be anyone of these animals I would be an African Penguin because I love penguins and the African Penguin does not live in cold climate like other penguins so I would be able to still do my favorite thing of playing in the beach.

Here is my new sea species I made. It is called a Sword Tail Crab Fish. It is a crab crossed with a swords tail fish. He likes to eat seaweed and he lives in shallow water so can be found in rock pools.
