SLJ New Sea Species – Kick start
Here is my new sea species I made. It is called a Sword Tail Crab Fish. It is a crab crossed with a swords tail fish. He likes to eat seaweed and he lives in shallow water so can be found in rock pools.

Here is my sea creature poem I wrote. The picture on my poem is my diamond art picture I have framed in my room.
SLJ Te Mara o Tangaroa: He Taumata Anō
I was not able to create a Terrarium so I re created my Turtle Island. I made this turtle Island for my school pet day miniature garden but I still have it set up I just had to re add the House and turtles as I was using them for playing with.
I made the house with popsical sticks and the roof with coloured ones. The fence top and bottom are popsical sticks and have thin sticks between them, I used the same small sticks for the camp fire. I used a LOT of Hot Glue. I then made the garden out of old rocks from our fish tank and planted some flowers and then made a miniature garden with small succulents.

I was to make a Mosaic Picture on Google Draw of one of the “Big 5 Marine Life of Africa “. The big 5 of Africa Marine Life are: the great white shark, the southern right whale, the bottle nose dolphin, the Cape fur seal, and the African penguin. I chose to do an African Penguin. Here is what I made.

SLJ Masks of Te Moana – Kick Start
Here is my turtle mask I made.
I made it out of paper to start with and taped it all together then I drew around it onto card. I then drew on the shell pattern and painted it. after it dried I used a marker pen to do the details on the shell.

SLJ Beach Mandala – Kick Start
For my beach Mandala Art I used shells that I collected from the beach last year. This is what I made. I used a background remover to remove the table I made it on and I changed it to sand to make it look like I made it on the beach.
SLJ Cartoon Collectables – Step It Up
Today I did Cartoon Collectables – Step It Up. I decided to make Crush Squirts Dad from Finding Nemo to go with my Squirt card I drew yesterday. My big Brother helped me by showing me how to add the texture to the shell.
